What If No One Comes to Save You? My 2AM Encounter with Eternity
A moment of pain became a holy revelation.
Let me tell you what happened the other night.
I was knocked out cold, enjoying a peaceful sleep after a fun night out celebrating a friend’s birthday. I wore heels (mistake #1 ), and apparently my legs had some words for me about it.
At 2AM sharp, I was snatched out of my slumber by the kind of cramp that could make a grown woman weep. Y’all. I screamed. I panicked. I reached for my heating pad and it was unplugged. My son was still knocked out and didn’t hear a thing. No one was coming.
The only thing I could do was call on Jesus.
As I sat on the edge of the bed recovering, still shook, I heard the Holy Spirit whisper:
👉🏾 “And that’s how it is in hell.”
Whewww. That stopped me in my tracks.
Imagine eternal pain… screaming out for help… and no one comes.
That middle-of-the-night moment became a holy revelation:
We don’t talk enough about eternity but it's coming. And what we do now matters forever.
So let me lovingly ask, Are you living like someone who’s preparing for eternity or just trying to survive the day?
Here are 5 simple ways to get aligned with Heaven starting today:
Surrender to Jesus – Accept Him as Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9)
Live in Ongoing Repentance – It’s about direction, not perfection.
Pursue Relationship, Not Just Religion – Spend time with God daily.
Obey His Word – Even when it’s hard or uncomfortable.
Stay Ready – Jesus could come back today. Would He find you faithful?
If you’re feeling distant from God, overwhelmed, or spiritually dry…
I want to walk with you through this realignment season.
That’s why I created my 14-day devotional journal:
"Reclaiming Me: A Heart Detox From Self to Savior"
This devotional will help you shift your focus back to what truly matters: Jesus.
Let’s stop playing with our forever, sis.
Eternity is too long to be unprepared.
With love and a plugged up heating pad by my side,
– Britt 💜
P.S. If this message stirred something in your spirit, forward it to a friend who might need it too. You never know what moment will wake someone up for good.
